It's been a long time!

I can't believe how long it's been since my last post!! So much has been happening .... and I still haven't finished decorating my front room!

But I have been very busy ..... I treated myself to a "bind-it-all" machine and have been busy making mini books by the dozen!!! Now all I have to do is fill them.To see more of my work, click on the link entitled "one old bag lady"!

I'm finally getting down to do some serious web designing, but am just realising how much more I have to learn. I'll post links as soon as I have something to show!

been really busy since the last post setting up classes and designing for people. Currently have two classes running: creative computing and cutting edge craft. design work includes personalised stationery, business cards, pricelists, letterheadings, and appointment cards. Latest addition - passport photos!

also spent far too much time catchin up on all the latest blogs around and found this today on kirsty's blog (thanks kirsty!). this is supposed to be me!!! why don't you try it and see what you come up with??

Battle of the Bands

As promised - the link to the Battle of the Bands web site is now in place. It's a fund raiser dreamed up as part of their GCSE course work aimed at raising money to pay for better music facilities at the school. Check it out - and if you're in the area why not come along - it should be good!

And I've managed to make a necklace to match the bracelet I made earlier! I'm thinking about starting a patchwork bag for my next project, but can't make up my mind which style to make ... could take a while!!

In the meantime I really must get on with building my own web sites and finding some work.

Finally finished

What was I saying about visiting people? Scrub that! Number one daughter has had me building a web site for her latest school project - Battle of the Bands! It's all done now bar the last few bits and should be on line in the next day or so - I'll post up a link as soon as it's live.

Now the pressures off, I can't make my mind up what to do first. I made a quick bracelet yesterday and would quite like to make a necklace to match; or shall I start making a patchwork bag or book cover? Decisions, decisions.

Meanwhile, number one son has kindly brought home the latest offering in cold viruses from school and we're all walking about with croaky voices and running noses. Maybe I should just give up for the time being!

Something for me!

After spending the last three years studying for a digital media degree while keeping the family running smoothly (well almost!) I've finally got some time for myself.



I've got so many things buzzing round in my head that I want to do ... bookbinding, patchwork, quilting, scrapbooking, beadwork to name just a few!


The trouble is everyone suddenly thinks that now I've finished studying, it's time I went to pay them a visit! I'm going to have to limit my visits to one a week or I'll never get anything done.
