Just a little Blue!

blueI've been feeling a little blue today ... partly the reaction to yesterday's euphoria, partly the aches of all that unprecedented excercise yesterday, and partly tiredness due to spending too much time crafting and too little time sleeping!

It was sooo good to get the car back last night, much as I enjoyed my time without it! It does make it possible to do so many more things, so much more easily!

I got a lovely new toy today from my favourite craft shop - an Eazi-Box scoring board. I have been struggling to make an octagonal box for ages with just a ruler and protractor, but with the new score-board I had one made in under half an hour ... brilliant!!

Off now to play some more :)

What a beautiful day!

beautiful day self-portrait
Wow! that feels good!! What a beautiful day!!!!

I have just got back from a really long walk .... and it feels so good! I've even got a smile on my face!!! I am so thankful that I live in such a beautiful place where I can go for long walks, either in the country - or by the sea - from my own front door!!!

And my friend who I haven't seen for ages is coming for lunch - so much to say ... so little time!!!

And finally ... the garage have promised to have my car ready for 5pm tonight so I can drive to my class. What a lot of good things in one day!!!

Oh and I nearly forgot ... my new "Finding You" friends have been absolutely brilliant!! - thank you all :)

New Identity - New Start

Finding You Cover

I have made a new resolution this morning, to set aside some time every day to reflect on the good things that are happening to me.

I think probably the best thing at the moment is taking part in Corinne Delis's on-line workshop 'Finding You!' ... brilliant - thank you Corinne :) I have really enjoyed meeting everyone, the layouts have been amazing - and everyone is so supportive - thank you all!

The next best thing is having my car break down on Friday ... it's still in the garage, which means I go out less ... and spend more time working (which is good!) and when I do go out I have to walk (which is also good - I need the exercise!). The children don't agree - having to walk to school is not the popular choice!

What will be good tomorrow .... ???
